This worked great in our van, but not so good in our older model truck. It slides around on the dash in the truck. I love being able to easily hide my gps since my truck has had tools stolen from it.
I love that I can leave it all hooked up and just unplug my GPS and put it in any other car quickly, it is also very easy to take off the dash to put on the floor when stopping at a store to dissuade would be theives. I bought one for my Garmin and loved it so much I bought 4 more for my kids TomTom units, it works with any brand. A friend has a name brand and thiers is a bit narrower but slides off their dash when they make turns. No mount left on the window or dash to advertise what may be in the glove compartment. It can also hold anything else with a suction cup meaning you can attach a silly bobblehead or a holder for an ipod.
This product was a great disappointment. It slid all over my dash during normal city driving. i returned it to Amazon whom made it easy & simple.
My friend got this bean bag type gps holder and raved about it, so he gave me the package in which it came so I could order exact item. I did not receive the same holder, but got a plain one, not at all bean bag type. It is totally worthless and I might as well have thrown my $12.00 out the car window.
This mount is heavy and flexible, unlike one previously purchased which was stiff and did not adapt well to dashboard contours. It is definitely the best value for the money as well.
